Alpine schools push toward higher visual aids in classrooms
Know Your City reports Alpine faculty chaired by Miss Myrtle Whiteside met with 30 teachers on January 20 to decide on maps and teaching aids. They aim to raise Alpine to Level 2 or 3 in a state self appraisal handbook and fund new materials largely through the local PTA plus a planned landscape overhaul of Central school grounds.
