Not Your Town It Is You A Marathon Reflection
The Marathon column presents a civic poem urging residents to improve their town by personal effort. It notes towns aren’t made by leaders alone but by each citizen’s work and care, with a call to join in rebuilding and supporting neighbors. Also brief local notices mention a Texas wedding in Mexico with Mrs Buttrill as matron of honor faded travel to El Paso, and local sports: Marathon teams beat Alpine in basketball and volleyball after games with Blackwell.
