Reporting of Tuberculosis by State and City

A June Journal article reports 26 states require living tuberculosis case reporting. 28 have no provision. Fourteen states require reporting tuberculosis as part of a list of infectious diseases. About 100 cities have local ordinances mandating TB reporting. The National Association urges strict reporting laws to enable elimination campaigns.
