Funeral services for Charlie Story were held Monday afternoon at Threlkeld's undertaking rooms with Rev. McNeill officiating. Born in Missouri on September 15, 1889, he died June 9. He leaves his mother, father, one sister and six brothers. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
Inspector G A Gregory visited the Alliance Normal from Chadron Nebraska where enrollment was about seventy and dining service praised. Sisters of St Joseph’s Hospital announce Second Annual Tag Day for June 17 1911 to aid charitable work with broad religious inclusivity and pledge of leadership by prior year volunteers.

June 21 8 30 P M academic graduation also at Phelan Opera House with choir instrumental solos and diplomas conferred by Father McNamara.
At an adjourned Box Butte Presbytery meeting in Alliance the Rev. James B. Brown was installed as regular pastor, after serving as stated supply. The sermon was by Rev. T. C. Osborne of Scottsbluff, with charges by Rev. D. W. Montgomery of Alliance to the people and Rev. H. A. Brown of Minature to the pastor.

Mr and Mrs A D Rodgers returned Sunday from a visit in Iowa and Missouri. They describe the trip as pleasant but note the heat and sultry nights were hard to endure for western travelers. They mention a dry season affecting crops with oats failing while fall wheat and corn look fine.
Mercy Hospital has been renamed to St. Josephs Hospital. The telephone directory will still list Mercy Hospital until the next directory issue.
