Milwaukee baseball writer Lou Chapman dies at 90

Lou Chapman longtime Milwaukee Sentinel columnist and sportswriter died Friday at age 90. He documented all 13 Braves seasons in Milwaukee and the Brewers first decade. Known as Scoop and Gumby for digging up stories, Chapman even allegedly hid behind clothing to eavesdrop on a team meeting said Bob Uecker now Brewers broadcaster.

Columbia woman charged in fire that kills adult son

Columbia police said Carolyn Glover 60 is charged with murder and arson after a Sunday fire at their home killed her adult son Julius Anthony Jones 43 who used a wheelchair. A witness saw a red plastic container with Glover moments before the blaze.
