Marshall Middle School Lands Project Healthy Schools
Marshall Middle School becomes the 26th Michigan school selected by the University of Michigan and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for Project Healthy Schools to combat obesity. Sixth graders receive interactive lessons, cafeteria collaboration, and a wellness team, with broader benefits for the entire student body. Michigan House Speaker Jase Bolger attended to commend the initiative, highlighting academic gains linked to physical activity and healthy eating.
