OLIC Community Garden Grows From Small Idea to Full Plots
Jonah Curtis of the Oaklawn Life Improvement Center organized a community garden for 12 locals. The project aims to educate participants on growing vegetables, promote local eating, and foster garden upkeep across varied experience levels. Plots sold out in a day and a half, with plans to expand next year as Curtis manages daily maintenance and weekly weeding and harvesting.
