Potawatomi casino pays 4.8 million to Calhoun County board
The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi donated 4.8 million to the FireKeepers Local Revenue Sharing Board on February 14, boosting total 2010 payments to nearly 7 million including an earlier 1.9 million. Tribal Chair Homer Mandoka said funds support county schools roads and community services as part of a 2 percent slot profit sharing agreement.
