Former Wooster Student Weds Charming Girl at Mansfield
The Mansfield Shield recounts the Meese-Palmer wedding Tuesday evening in Wooster style. Miss Rae Palmer, daughter of Mr and Mrs R Palmer, wed Edwin M Meese, son of Rev and Mrs D J Meese, before about three hundred relatives and friends at St John’s church. The ceremony featured maid of honor Lucy Wespard and bridesmaids Bertha Killmerten Rose Taylor and others. The gown was white satin with lace and orange blossoms. reception followed at the Palmer home on North Mulberry Street. Guests included numerous Wooster and area residents, with many couples from Milwaukee Upper Sandusky Detroit and nearby towns attending.
