Horses Cause Trouble on Square Carriage Incident
Early Sunday evening Emile Paumier and Nick Amster drove a carriage through the square when the team frightened by a street car dashed into an electric light pole. Paumier restrained the horses while Amster and two youths exited. No serious damage beyond a creaked pole. Liveryman Daniel Stuller later mangled his left thumb when a horse bit, tearing flesh and nail as he freed himself. County Coroner Charleo Zaring witnessed the injury.
