A telegram from St Louis announces the death Sunday of Andreas Buech former Wooster resident and noted tenor soloist. He left Wooster about twenty years ago with his family and made a name frescoing in the Mound City. He belonged to the old Wooster Wooster Manner choir and Morgenstren lodge Knights of Pythias, remaining a Wooster member despite 20 years away.
A fragmentary advertisement lists Chamberlain's Stomach, Liver and Beauf? products and Ely's Cream Balm praising digestion and relief from colds. It promotes Foley's Honey and Tar with claims of reliable results and urges guarding health by choosing genuine products despite garbled text.

Wooster reported the allotment of Panama canal bonds to national banks across the United States. Purchases were by banks, not individuals, with allotments of 10 000 and up. The Farmervind Merchants National Bank of Quitney, Va. paid the top price of 1087 76 for 100 000 in bonds, while most allocations went to large city banking institutions and few small-city lenders participated.
