In Payne Indiana February 1898 William R Hayes reports four months of use of Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin. He gained 27 pounds, from 150 to 177, and says he feels better than ever. Advertises 100 size ten doses ten cents, regular sizes fifty cents and one dollar at Laubach and Boyd's.
Wooster real estate sees fair sales despite overall business slump as McClellan & Sanborn list significant transfers. D. Q. Liggett homestead on Beyer street fronts Buckeye for 8500, Jas. Newkirk residence on Beall avenue sells for 3100, McDonald residence on Beall avenue brings 31800, Overholt Bloomington property 4500 to Jacob Frick, Speer Bloomington property 2650 to Rev. Jas. Houston, Gelrgey residence on Suipsatcha to Mrs. Stoner, and banker Albert Shupe buys Liggett homestead for 4000 to reside and improve.

Daytosx, O. April 5. Phillipa House partially burned today with flames starting in the laundry. Actor John Bryant of the Katie Rooney company and another man were fatally injured. Others suffered injuries in the blaze.
