Fish tale fishing trip ends in full nets and feast
The account recalls a group including Tom and Van Haley, Bill and Billie Smith, Larry Fowler, Donny Myers, Nathanies, Terry Oldham, Reece Morrison, Duane Berry, and Jack Oldham. By four o clock they had sixty pounds of fish and fried them by four-thirty. They ate until nightfall and woke next day to more bacon and eggs as they prepared boats, with miscues like misplacing gas and battery forgotten. Old Jack talks, but secret fishing hole remains protected.
