The Market Day Auction will start at 5:00 P.M. Saturday May 6 at Lions Field with local auctioneer Bill Arendall. Consignments from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on sale day. purchases must be removed by 8:00 P.M. Commission is 20 percent with a $2 minimum. Lot sales require container packing. Bidder numbers available at the Snack Bar. Lions Club charity proceeds planned.

It notes time lost to waste cleanup and questions road-work efficiency while quoting Edwards Underground Water District praising Cloptin Crossing Reservoir as Congress considers related authorization.
Raymond Czichos of Wimberley is celebrated for twenty five years on the local school board. The Czichos family built a growing community around 7A Ranch on the Blanco River, expanding to Pioneer Town with a railroad. He helped found area civic groups and served through a demanding school relocation and new building era.
