The B and T Club held its first meeting at Mrs. J. W. Jackson's home on September 9. One new member, Mrs. G. M. Hedderich, was admitted, with business transacted and refreshments served. Visitors included Mrs. Modie Mrs. Rawson and Mrs. Henness. The next meeting will be at Mrs. Ellithorpe's on September 23 to begin the year's program.
M B Chase and Jack Dwyer must serve 100 days in Minot jail after a supreme court decision. They were convicted last year of keeping a place for gambling and face $150 in costs each. Chase was moved to Minot Tuesday night and Dwyer faces transfer soon.
Williston items advertise farm loans from W H Denny and the Williston Land Company with no delay. Also invites inspection of Fall suits at The Call and repairs cleaning or pressing services. H V Souths promotes coal orders from The Fashion store for ladies with entrances to Gardiners Store.
