Caste for Dads Girl at the Opera House Thursday Evening

The cast list for the play Dads Girl shows Mercer Baxter described as a diamond in the rough. First Meeting Of The B. And T. Club Held At Mrs Modie

The B. and T. club held its first meeting of the year at Mrs C R Modie’s residence with seventeen members and three visitors attending. The program focused on household economics and planning menus to keep costs down. The household course for the year aims to be practical.

Part of the 16th Regiment U.S. Infantry moved via No 3 train from Columbus Ohio to Fort Gibbons Alaska to relieve the troops now on duty there. The transport passed through the area Sunday en route to the northern post.

Camped party returns with plums and berries near Patent Gate

Mr and Mrs Samuel Boyd Mr and Mrs George Gilmore and Mrs Edw Paine formed a camping party to Patent Gate about ten miles southeast of White House. They traveled with two wagons carrying a full camp outfit and returned Saturday loaded with plums and berries.
