Suitor Kills Woman Then Dies in Bakery Killing
New York sept 20 Henry Fischner a baker shot and killed Miss Johanna Hoffman who refused his proposal in a Tenth avenue bakery. He then fatally shot himself in view of several witnesses. Hoffman’s uncle owned the bakery. Fischner died later in a hospital. Also Elizabeth Holmes found insane by a sheriff’s jury in Brooklyn after her husband had her committed. A will in Warsaw Indiana left a large estate to the poor, derived from coal fields leased to the Pennsylvania Railroad.
