Owing to cold windy weather and a busy season the sale at P J Crandell's drew few buyers though transactions were still made. Attendees included A D Paulson of Williston and Crist A Lee, with Lee purchasing a team of working horses and a new colt arriving.
Mr J E B Frost, Hast Fork assessor, worked last week. Signora Dahl unable to attend school due to foot trouble. Mrs P J Crandell visited neighbors Thursday. Crist Lee attended the Spring Brook telephone meeting again Thursday night. E F Criggis crops for Martin Johnson this week. Farmers hustling new days in the field. Henry Bartells, Mrs Paul Klatte and daughter visited Williston Friday. John Storseth went to Williston on business Thursday. Invitations issued for bowery dance at Lewis's eight miles north of Spring Brook Saturday night at eight. Everyone welcome.
Residents list friendly visits from Mr. Baird Mrs. Matson and families. Norwegian Lutherans plan services at the Tandy school house with Pastor Johansen and Miss Plorine visiting. A prairie fire causes damage while Seeding and blacksmithing continue. Miss Rhine smith may return for next term.
