Rev Hoilett to preach at Garden Valley school house

Garden Valley notes list a Sunday 3 30 sermon by Rev Hoilett in the school house. Willie Rieder has recovered from tonsillitis and Florence McWilliams missed school for illness. Orin Hamilton family car accident left neck yoke broken but no serious injuries. Basket social scheduled for Friday evening May 13.

Ladies Aid Plans May Festival at Squires

The Ladies Aid of the Norwegian church will celebrate at Squires May ith. Everyone invited. Robert Goar is building a neat cottage. Miss Rineholt has stone digging on her farm this week. S. P. Fletcher transacted business at the county seat Tuesday. Miss Mary Helland and Ed Anseth visited C. J. Cook Sunday evening. William Gerbard visited friends on Painted Wood Tuesday. Miss Mary and Louise Helland with Martin Ogloe and Ed Anseth attended church and ate dinner with Palmer Anseth and wife. Vern McMurrin and wife spent Sunday at C. J. Cook's. Mrs. Lars Peterson returned from Litchfield. James Helland breaking up new land quarter. Farmers nearly finished seeding. John R. Schaeffer erected a wind mill improving his farm.

Local nine forces tie in ninth inning baseball clash

Stady led most of the game but the local team rallied in the final half of the ninth to tie at 8 8. Steady tallied one run in extras to win the tie. Local fans aim to trim Stady’s lineup in their next meeting amid community notes from Rudser North Dakota and surrounding initiatives.
