Garfield Coming to Wil liston for irrigation project opening
Garfield has been invited by the Commercial Club to attend the July fifth irrigation project opening. He will likely travel through the west with his party, arriving from the Twin Cities. Expected attendees include Senators Hansbrough and McCumber, Representatives Grenna and Marshall, Governor Burke, Lieutenant Governor Lewis, Speaker Twicehell, State Engineer Fellows, and J. Al. A special program with speeches by Garfield and party members will mark a significant day for Williston and aid irrigation efforts by informing the secretary of local conditions.

Marie McCormick, twenty month old daughter of Mr and Mrs Adin McCormick, died Tuesday night from pneumonia brought on by measles. The funeral will be held this afternoon at three from the Methodist church with Rev Jollet officiating, burial in Williston cemetery. The family has the sympathy of many friends in their great bereavement.
