Crookston Fire Rescuers Save Family From Blaze
In Crookston on April 25 Charles Solberg and John Dunn risked severe burns to rescue the wife and children of F Benty from a prairie fire that consumed a gran ite and four stacks of unthreshed grain on the Bonty farm. The house was saved by their efforts though a nearby schoolhouse burned and Dorothy Mullen the teacher escaped but lost personal belongings and several farm structures.
