Ticket Chosen Monday Night for City Election
At a courthouse meeting Monday night a city election ticket was chosen. Joseph Wegley was unanimously chosen to continue as mayor. Oscar Bell and Martin Amen were nominated for city treasurer with Bell at 67 votes and Asen 17. Police Magistrate nominees were T R Blankenship and M Asen with Asen 62 and Blankenship 21, plus one vote for Lem Smith and one for Ben Whitehead. S J Mitchell won the city justice nomination 53 to 30. Aldermen candidates were chosen: Harry Munroe from the first ward, George Grogn from the second, and S F McAvoy from the third.
