State Flag Adopted By Legislature In North Dakota
The legislature adopted a flag design submitted by Mrs. C. O. Klevin of Northwood. The flag measures four and a half by six feet with a white border, a white center stripe, a blue strip above, a red strip below, and the state seal. The blue strip bears a white star with 39 and admission dates on each side. the red strip features a sheaf of wheat flanked by the state tower and wild rose. North Dakota appears across the flag on both sides of the seal.
