At a Tuesday commercial club meeting it was proposed that President Roosevelt be invited to attend the irrigation project opening on June 17. An expected western trip in June increases the chance of a visit, with engineers Savage and Interior officials likely to attend if invited by Senators and Representatives. The club will push the plan hoping for a Roosevelt visit that day.
