Election Returns From County Precincts Show Strong GOP Lead
Seven precincts remain to hear from as Frank B. Chapman and George J. Smith top their running mates by about a hundred votes in county representative races. Safe majorities favor L. L. Lumpman sheriff and other officials. Eight delegates on the ticket are all Republicans. State results are slow with no definite statewide reports yet. Ward county contests were close and bitter. Regular Teacher Institute In Williama County
The Williama and McKensia counties unite for a week long institute at Williston starting June 25. Professor A P Hollis of Valley City conducts, with Miss McElfresh directing kindergarten work and Professor Ellithorpe among the faculty. All teachers must attend by law, and the program promises a largely updated, practical institute building on last year’s success. Visiting teachers and all interested in school work are invited to participate and help ensure its success.
