Benetol hog cholera cure questioned by Farm Dept
A Farm Stock and Home column reports F S H received a circular touting Benetol as a hog cholera remedy. Minnesota Experiment Station, via Dean A F Woods, states Berg never belonged to the station and Benetol showed no merit as a preventive or cure. The matter is under review with officials notified for action. June issue promised with further information.

Book lending via Uncle Sam movement urged for farmers
The Farm and Fireside relays an editorial proposing a U S book loan system for farmers inspired by a Canadian plan to supply every person with one book weekly at two cents. The scheme would use post offices as universal libraries with delivery by postmasters and carriers, no reading rooms, and a cheap self sustaining network to provide access to standard books nationwide.
