Montana Commission Orders Sunday Train Service Restored

Montana towns argued that the Great Northern cut Sunday passenger trains, so the railroad commission ordered intrastate service reinstated within twenty days and specified stop adjustments at Oswego Nashua Dodson Saco Hinsdale Warland Harlem and Wolf Point. The commission contrasted intrastate earnings with interstate figures to argue the railroad bears responsibility for lost passenger business.

Farmers transport 800 bushel wheat by gas tractor

Last Saturday morning Messrs Heghoe and Dahl arrived at the Westby and Lowe elevator with an 800 bushel load of wheat from farms 32 miles north of Willis ton. Six wagons carried the grain, moved by a monster Austrian gas tractor. The grain weighed more than 48 000 pounds.

Burdick Supporters Rally At Watford City Meeting

A large audience packed the Watford City auditorium Saturday to back Burdick for governor with diverse local party members present. Nonpartisan League leaders endorsed Burdick, noting his legislative service and progressive record, as county and local club officers were elected to support his campaign.
