The Williams County Sunday School association plans its annual convention at Ray on June 3 and 4. A parade leads Saturday events at 7:30, with an auto train Sunday from Metzger’s corner to Ray for a 9:30 service. Rev. Walter A. Willis ton High to hold largest commencement ever
The Willis ton High School will graduate its largest class at the armory Friday evening with Dr. Karl R. Stolz of Wesley College delivering "The Practical Idealist." The ceremony includes a full program with songs, prayers, orations, and diploma presentations, followed by the Class of 1916 list and notes on the yearbook from the junior class.

Memorial Day Observed At Armory Parade And Cemetery
Beautiful weather aided a well planned program with a large Armory attendance. A procession of several hundred children with flags formed at the Armory and went to the cemetery to decorate the graves of the fallen soldiers. The event was a striking scene and space limits fuller coverage.
