Notice that on June 28 1900 the city council of Williston North Dakota will receive sealed bids for 15000 dollars of Electra Light Plant Bonds dated June 10 1906. Bonds bear eight percent interest payable semi annually and mature in 1922 1930 1943 and other denominations. Bids must state price per bond and include a $500 bid bond. Bid opening requires a certified check and bids must be mailed to the designated city officer within twenty days after acceptance. The successful bidder must purchase bonds at the stated price and arrange for transfer and delivery at cost.

Williston City Council Adopts Sidewalk Plan and Ordinance Agenda
At the May 19 1906 council meeting the report was adopted directing the city auditor to prepare an ordinance on sidewalks. A sidewalk on second street from Sassen Avenue to Brueger Avenue was approved with crosswalks on all streets and alleys along the line. The resolution orders sidewalks within 30 days of notice and names T S Phillips as deputy commissioner. The council also directed an ordinance on keeping stallions and filed a water and lights ordinance for future reference. The May 23 meeting adjourned without a quorum.
