The Boston Bloomers, the country’s only original all female traveling team, will play Williston on Saturday. The visitors are playing strong ball this season and promise a competitive game that should entertain locals.
A Union Temperance meeting will be held next Sunday evening at 8 o'clock in the Congregational Church. Special music will be provided. The Legal Status of the Liquor Traffic will be the theme of address. You are cordially invited. Come on time and bring your friends. Young men especially invited.
J. B. Peppinger of Painted Wood said crops look very good and he expects a twenty percent improvement over last year. He displayed pictures including a blue stem wheat field where grain reached waist height, noting his tall height for perspective.
