Miss Minona Belle Rhodes arrived Sunday morning from Silver Lake Indiana and married Rosco M Self at 1 pm in the home of Mr. and Mrs. M S Phillips. Rev Hollett officiated and a sumptuous dinner followed. Self is employed at the U S R S and has many local friends offering congratulations.
C O Knudson A T Knudson and E W Munson proved up on their claims near Mormon. The Portland, Oregon bound group filed at about the same time and left Tuesday for Grand Forks to attend the fair then return home to Portland to visit until spring.
J W Jenkins of Chapel Hill North Carolina says arnica salve is the best the world affords and cured a felon on his thumb. He reports it reliably heals sore burns and wounds. Available for 25 cents at Browell’s drug store.
A horse with saddle and half mare on brand F7 on left shoulder and T on left hip was brought to the keeper at Truax North Dakota on June 26 1908 in township 154 range 98 section 19. Owner listed as J E McKivett.
Three horses are missing from Medicine Lake Montana on July 5 1908. A dark bay mare about 1300 pounds blind in left eye shod in front with halters. A bay mare about 1250 with a forehead spot and white hind legs. A bay horse about 1200 with a white forehead strip and white hind legs. No brands. Ten dollar reward for information leading to recovery. Notify J Severson Homestead P O Montana.

The Congregational Church outlines its order of worship with Bible Hour at 10:00 a m. Morning sermon at 11:00 a m. Junior service at 3:00 p m. Christian Endeavor at 4:00 p m. Evening sermon at 8:00 p m. Services are scheduled for the Sunday observance.

Chief Passenger Agent A L Craig of the Great Northern spent a day in town reviewing the Williston irrigation project. The veteran irrigation expert toured the ditch, power plant, canals and reservoir and voiced optimism about a bright future for Williston as irrigated lands become known and demand grows.

On May 20 1908 a red cow and a red yearling calf strayed from near Squires North Dakota. Both have white foreheads. The cow has no horns or brands. A reward is offered for return or information leading to recovery by Charlie Herman of Squires.
