Warning on Insurance Laws and Agent Licensing
North Dakota Insurance Commissioner warns that the Western Hail Indemnity Exchange is not licensed to transact in the state and that acting as its agent is a misdemeanor with fines up to five hundred dollars. The bulletin explains license requirements, cites Section 4508 and 4509, and urges officers and brokers to obtain proper authority before soliciting or placing insurance.
