Leg Broken by Loaded Wagon in Cement Haul
George Riebe a teamster hauling cement for the Reclamation power house was run over by his own wagon Tuesday. Both bones of the right leg were broken mid way between knee and ankle. He was taken to Francis hospital where Dr. Dochterman described the fracture as very bad with both bones shattered. The accident happened when the seat slipped throwing him under the wheels. both legs were run over though only one was broken.

Moonshiners Arrested After North Carolina Distilling Charge
Frank and J. F. Smith linked to last week's Stanley shooting were arrested by federal agents for distilling whiskey in North Carolina. U. S. Marshall Shea learned of their arrest in Minot and chased them after initial release. They appeared before U. S. Commissioner Bird and were bound over to the U. S. court under $2,000 bonds.

Joe Brennen and Mike Garren confined in the county jail escaped by twisting nails from the window bars Monday night. One man had a cork leg and limped, the other was tall. Sheriff Lampman and deputies pursue them with no capture yet.
