Grand Jury Called by Order of Judge Goss in Williams County
Williams County to host a grand jury at the coming term by order of Judge Goss. Clerk A H Brown instructed to draw jurors for a meeting on Tuesday the 28th. This second Williams County grand jury follows the first called in 1898 or 1899. Death of Mrs. Frazier and Child in Williston
Violet Ethel Newell Frazier of Glasgow Montana and her daughter Gladys Irene Frazier died within three days of each other. The double funeral was held at the Congregational church in Williston. The mother, married to John Frazier in 1901, had four children and had moved from Williston to Glasgow after illness.

Man Killed by Falling Tree Near Alexander
George Armstrong, a Mackenzie county farmer near Alexander, was killed Monday when a tree he and Emil Peterson were cutting fell the wrong way. He died of brain concussion shortly after, despite Dr. J H Belyea being summoned. Also noted is a January 20 double wedding at St Josephs Catholic church in this city featuring Anastacia and Agnes McCarthy and their respective husbands Vernie McMurrin and Chris J Cook of Williston.
