One Hundred Dollars a Box Ad for DeWitt’s Witch Hazel Salve

H A Tisdale of Summerton South Carolina values DeWitts Witch Hazel Salve at one hundred dollars a box. He claims it cured his long standing piles after trying many doctors and medicines. The ad lists the salve as combining witch hazel antiseptics and ingredients and claims relief and permanent cure for piles sores cuts eczema and skin diseases. Brownell and McPhee are named. H W Johnston a deputy grand master workman of the AOUW visited Williston and said a workmen’s lodge to be organized at Hofflund was postponed by a story last week.
