New Party Plans Fargo Convention Endorsing Cross-Party Candidates

The Farmers' Non-partisan Political league will hold a Fargo convention in late March to endorse candidates for the June state primaries. The league aims to back Republican and Democratic nominees and urges its 36,000 members to vote for endorsed individuals in their parties. Delegates to the state convention will be chosen at February 22 township meetings, as the new organization cannot nominate like the established parties.
