New Express Rule Cuts Out Booze
A federal regulation to take effect on January 1 restricts interstate liquor shipments through express companies. Bottled goods must be consigned to a bona fide purchaser, ending C O D practices and reducing such shipments to dry regions. North Dakota law will require clear outside marking and content description on all intoxicating liquor packages. The Tri-State Grain Growers convention is set for January 18 to 21 in Fargo with an invitation to attendees and their spouses.

Guthrie Oklahoma December 15 state funds totaling 122867.93 are on deposit in Farmers National Bank of Tulsa which closed its doors last night Governor Haskell reports Edward Cassidy secretary of the school and land commission deposited 700000 while State Treasurer James Menefee deposited 52867 93 The funds are protected by warrants and surety bonds with a state guaranty fund sufficient to cover depositors unless two state banks fail.
