Fragmentary OCR indicates a 1906 notice from the Interior Land Office Williston New Jersey announcing a sale by public auction at 2 o clock, with serial numbers and land descriptions to be disclosed. The garbled text references highest bids, December next, and a directed notice by the General Land Office.
On November 6 1908 the court finds due diligence to serve this notice impossible and orders that service be effected by due and proper means. John P McDowell Receiver and Barrett attorney for Contestant in Minot North Dakota are appointed to implement the service.
Department of the Interior williston land office reports Agnes F Feehan contests homestead entry 28697 made June 21 1904 for southeast quarter section 9 township 58 range 99. Alleged abandonment with no residence or improvements and not due to military service. Parties must appear and respond at 10 a.m. on set date.
A contest affidavit filed by Roy Howard Rams contests Bane Band for abandonment of a homestead tract in Williston NC. The contestant alleges the entryman has not cultivated improved or resided on the land for over six months, with absence not due to military service. Proceedings before the U.S. Land Office Register and Receiver in February 1909.

Creditors and others with claims against the deceased must exhibit them with vouchers within four months after first publication to the executor at the Williston office of N B Ludonese. The hearing will occur December 29, 1908, before the Register and Receiver at Williston ND, with witnesses Jaman C Harrington Ed Henry George Ray and Mrs Francis J Porter, all of Williston ND.
James E Jay of Williston North Dakota filed notice to make final proof for land described. he will testify January 2 1909 before US commissioner John Flutie at Williston. Witnesses include Frank Waters Arthur Smith E Laird Grant Rutledge all of Higley North Dakota.

Zein, contestant, files affidavits alleging Peter Peterson, contestee, abandoned the tract NWW1/4 NE1/4 NW1/4 section 13 township 156 range 10, since March 11, 1906, for over six months, with no residence or improvements, the land remaining in its natural state. Proceedings touch the allegation at 10 o clock.
