Teachers Examination Set for August in Williston and Ambrose
The next regular teachers examination will be held August 28 and 29, 1908, at school buildings in Williston and Ambrose. Those with conditional certificates from May must complete at this session. Three horses missing from the J Severson Homestead area in Medicine Lake Montana on July Sth 1908. A dark bay mare about 1300 pounds is blind in the left eye and shod in front. A bay mare about 1250 pounds has a forehead spot and white hind legs. A bay horse about 1200 pounds has a white forehead stripe and white hind legs. All had halters. no brands. Burglars entered the Leland department store in Minot through a basement window Sunday afternoon and stole clothing and $148 from the safe. The theft was not found until late Sunday evening and police have not identified the suspects.
