Norwegian wife honored in sorrowful correspondence
Mrs. B. Solberg died after months of illness on the Solberg farm in Williams County North Dakota. Married 44 years in Trondjelm Norway, she and her husband came to America in 1866. She leaves a husband four sons and two daughters. Services conducted in Norwegian by Rev. C G Jorgensen with Rev K J MacInnes translating. Harvest reports note strong yields with wheat at eighteen bushels and oats at twenty five. Local notes mention social events and community life including ice cream socials and school plans.
