Crocker Memorial Church Opens In Ramsey New Jersey

A memorial church funded by George Crocker to the Episcopal mission of St. John in Ramsey New Jersey has been completed. Built in early Norman style from field stones with dressed trim, it features a battlemented east tower, belfry and spire, and seats for 200. The nave ceiling shows exposed wood trusses, with chancel and sanctuary arranged for a vested choir and organ. The church, fittings and pipe organ cost $12,000, and a new organ was donated last summer by Crocker. Rev. Dr. Jackson of Allendale, N J, serves as priest in charge.
