Tin shop operator injured by wood splinter at mill
John Dithmer who ran a tin shop was injured Saturday while helping his brother-in-law at a saw mill across the river. A two inch by half inch wood fragment flew into his left nostril, driving in about two inches and splitting the septum. He returned to the city and Dr. E H Belgea removed the fragment and dressed the wound.

Otto P Dohmstreich Dies After Illness at 26
Otto P Dohmstreich formerly a dry goods clerk at Bruegger Mercantile died Sunday morning after seven weeks illness from pneumonia followed by paralysis. Born in Morris Minnesota he left two brothers and a sister there and an uncle F R Zahl. He was 26 and a member of the Alephia lodge of Pythias with services held at a Freeman home before burial in Morris, Minnesota.

Death of Paul Schierbeck Shakes Local Community
Paul Schierbeck, 43, longtime resident of Willis ton, died of heart failure Saturday night at his home two miles north of town. A butcher by trade, he later engaged in stock raising and dairy. An active Odd Fellow, he leaves a wife and was interred in Wetherly Pennsylvania after services in the Odd Fellows hall. He had moved to Willis ton in 1886 from Wetherly and accumulated city property and a farm north of town.
