County Republican Convention Names State Delegates
The county Republican convention met in the court room to elect delegates for the State convention in Minot on May 14. Ira R. Elliott of Ray was chosen chairman and Leo H. Prairie Fire Burns Offenacker Farm Barn and Men
Two McKenzie county residents H Offenacker and J E Eemon were badly burned in a prairie fire that engulfed Offenacker's barn and farm earlier this week. They were attempting to move livestock when the blaze took hold. Offenacker lost his barn hay and machinery while both men suffered head and arm injuries. They sought medical treatment in the city Monday.
