Mrs. Luther Cline of Barnett community near Blue Ridge died in a McKinney hospital from burns after gasoline saturated dress ignited while she borrowed gasoline for an iron. Detectives reported to a St Louis grand jury that slot machines pay 20 cents for each nickel won. They tested machines with coins. one player won $2.70 from a $10 run, another $1.60 after thirty two nickels before a dime appeared. Soil meetings to start across nation for conservation program

Drivers Must Be Licensed April 1
April 1 will be an important date for every driver of a motor vehicle in Texas. On and after that date every driver must have with him his driver's license, every truck and automobile must have its new license plate. Enforcement of provisions of the driver's license law is scheduled to begin. With the beginning of April every automobile driver in the State will have a handy place where he can note the license number of his car and, also, of the motor number on the margin of his driver's license. The sincerity with which official Texas attempts to enforce provisions of the driver's license law beginning next month will depend much of its future effectiveness.
