Burglary at Strange Jewelry Co in Sherman
At about 3 45 Sunday morning a thief shattered a large plate glass window at 111 North Travis Street and stole two diamond lavalliers several rings and other jewelry from the Strange Jewelry Company. A Southwestern Telegraph operator heard the crash, Patrolman Jap Phillips arrested two suspects after a tour of the hall but no arrests were made by the time he returned to the scene.

Two Oklahoma Men Seized With Nearly 100 Pints Of Booze
Two white men from Johnson county Oklahoma were arrested at noon Monday by Deputy Sheriffs Boyd Craig and Oscar Poff as they returned from Dallas on the interurban limited. They carried four suitcases with 86 pints and concealed liquor on one man a quart and three pints. The other held a quart two pints and a half pint. They were jailed awaiting disposition.
