Officials urged to attend as the Whitewright Scout Club shows growth from one tenderfoot and six second-class to four first-class and twenty-odd second-class members. An election is set for the 15th to issue 4500 in bonds to liquidate school debt and finish the building. The condensed receipts and disbursements show a 2185 surplus? actually a shortfall of 2185. Tax impact figures show a tiny increase of about 23 cents per thousand, funded by sinking and interest. Proponents argue funds improve furniture, seating, basement finishing, and long term needs, led by Dan Gillett and district officers.

A two course lunch was served by the hostess with Miss Hollingsworth assisting. The adjournment plans to meet with Miss Edna Rathbun on February 6, moved earlier due to a Parent Teachers Association reception for teachers, many of whom are club members.
