Boy Scout Program Admits New Member and Plans Meeting

One new member joined the Scout Club Sunday and a profitable meeting followed. Bro Arch er gave a talk, Mr J Walker spoke and agreed to serve as assistant scout master. An invitation goes out to city ladies to attend future meetings as several offices remain unfilled. The program for Sunday the 21st starts at 2 30 p m with talks by Roscoe Cook Lefevre Gordon Bryant and Walker and a report from Scout Reporter.

Marion Smith of the Ely community traveled to Dallas on Monday for eye treatment. His eyes have troubled him for several years and he makes regular trips for care, but so far little relief has been found.

Family housing moves wrap Katy agent's relocation

Former Katy agent W. C. Welch and his family have moved to Caddo Mills. Their vacated home east of the depot is now occupied by W. L. Henry and his family, who left a house in East Whitewright and will be replaced by Guy Dillon and his family.
