Life on the Quail farm from 1918 memories to move to Wellington
Margaret Wood White Man recounts a life on a Quail farm with siblings and a carpentry father who built the Quail Baptist Church. She recalls schooling, church and community events, dances, sisters in Wellington High, family recipes, a first Model T, a dirt-floor cellar, pie suppers, and moving to Wellington in 1935 then Lubbock, ending with a quote about human sociability.
