Died While on a Sad Mission in New York City
Marlon Btackey Robison died Monday afternoon April 3 in a New York City hospital after a bout with typhoid fever while returning from supervising a disinterment in Onda related to OFWs dead soldiers of the 5th Regiment. He was 40, survived by his wife and three sons Bert Walter and Howard. Bert and Walter served in Cuba with United States forces. Walter is currently a soldier in the regular army at Manjix. The funeral is set for Thursday at 2 p.m. at Shreve.

Man Killed by Train Near Orrville During Walk
Isaac Fetters aged 73 of East Union was struck by a northbound train on April 4 while walking home four miles southwest of Orrville under a trestle. The accident mangled his head and body as the train stopped. his remains were moved to the depot. Fetters had recently held a public sale and planned to live with his daughter Mrs Walter Freeze and husband, having deeded his home for their care and his aging wife.
