Bold robbery at Gilbert Lowe home near Applecreek
Four masked robbers forced entry at the Lowe farm eleven miles southwest of Applecreek between 8 and 9 pm. They bound and gagged Mrs Snyder and Mr Snyder, stole £7 cash and a gold watch, and wore an old Snyder overcoat. They fled toward the railroad, with locals tracing their steps from Frederickaburg. A second note mentions a health cure story and a drug store advert.

Canton Reorganization Planned by I F and L Companies
The Eighth Regiment Ohio National Guard units I and L will reorganize this week in Canton on March 6. Company F was formed last Wednesday with forty seven members. Captain Philip Year of Company I announced a Tuesday meeting for reorganization. Company L plans an armory reorganize on Wednesday with First Lieutenant William M Burnon in charge since Captain Fisher’s resignation. Discharges available on request for those choosing to withdraw.

Eye Specialist to Visit Yoder House Parlors on Friday
Dr Frederick Platt will again be at the Yoder House Parlors on Friday April 7 to examine eyes. County commissioners meet in regular session Monday to review viewers report on a proposed road along the north line of Wonster two. Viewers favor the road which would be forty feet wide with twenty five feet on either side of the cleared line. The plan requires removing the I E house at the stone quarry and, as now drawn, the road sits about six feet from the line.
